La Rouquette is well located for wine tasting near some of the major growing areas. Northwards is Bergerac country and the famous sweet wine chateau of Monbazillac, just near Bergerac airport. Going west, there's St Emilion - a 2-hour drive. You can stop off at the impressive Chateau de Duras. Eastwards, there's wine tasting around Cahors as near as Puy l'Eveque & Montcuq. And going south west is the Armagnac region. We offer special weekend and short week rates for you to have 3 or 5-days wine tasting out of season when the weather's usually good but it's cheaper and a lot quieter. We can cater for parties up to 14 people in 3-gites. And arrange airport collections and returns. |

Going south west is the Armagnac region, with tasting distilleries on the route from Condom to Eauze. Visit the Roman town of Seviac, the fortified town of Larresingle, and the beautiful Chateau Cassaigne. Check out the local Floc wine too. |
